What is the point in Lent?
I know people do it to understand what it’s like to live without luxuries, but is it actually helping anyone? If everyone gave up chocolate for lent the farmers in third world countries who make a living on selling cocoa would lose trade and it would be doing them more harm than good. Donate to charity. It’s far better than giving something up for lent. If people are giving up...
